Getting *too* weird?

I'm really not too happy with the past couple of episodes. I think they're trying to get creative -- perhaps too hard -- but really, it's just too out there for me. I greatly prefer the "regular" episodes, where Allison gets a case to solve, and they toss in some side storyline about Joe or the kids. These "alternate reality" episodes are really difficult for me to follow, and they're just too bizarre.

I really hope this is a phase the writers are going through, and they'll go back to normal soon...
