Hi, I've just joined this community. I absolutely love the show Medium. I think it's because everyone in my family has "the sight," and this show accurately protrays what it's like. I think Patricia Arquette was a great choice to play Alison Dubois. I've seen Dubois on TV, and there was an uncanny resemblance.

I vaguely remember hearing that there really is an Alison Dubois, but I guess I have forgotten. If that's the case, how cool is that to have a show named after you? What's her real story anyways?
