A newbie who comes bearing gifts ...

Hello ... I've just joined this fabulous community and wanted to take the time to post a quick intro and some info I hope most of you will find interesting ... namely about the real Allison Dubois.

I coincidentally became a "Medium" fan when I moved to Phoenix, AZ ... in fact the first episode of "Medium" aired on the first night of my drive across the country from VA to AZ ... I watched it with a friend of mine when I stopped for the night in TN. As soon as I got here I started looking for activities relating to Allison Dubois ... I figured with the show taking off there would be some.

Allison just came out with a book entitled "Don't Kiss Them Goodbye" and it is currently at number 7 on the NY Times Bestseller List for Non-Fiction books. I was fortunate to be able to go to a book signing and Q&A of Allison's here in Phoenix about three weeks ago. I've included excerpts from my LJ entry about the event for anyone interested.
