Date: 2010-05-23 08:03 pm (UTC)Wonderful finale overall. the storyline was fascinating, the acting top notch and the ending, touching. One of my favorites thus far. And this opens the door for Ariel to leave home and perhaps the main storylines for a while, hurray! I love Sofia Vassilieva but I really dislike Ariel as a character and I will be glad to see her leave even for a short period of time. Adios!

I think they were justified. I mean, it is the other side of the country. I am Ariel's age so I can understand her point of view but I can see why and how it would bother Allison. I don't think her actions when she was "dead" to keep her home were bad either. I was actually frustrated with Ariel during this time. The work she did saved lives and avenged murders. I would find my life purposeful if I had the chance to even save one life. But then, I never liked Ariel so I may be biases.

I thought both Allison and Devalos' deaths were rather fast-paced and both families seemed to have moved on rather quickly. I know the story didn't revolve around them but I just find it rather unsettling. I would have loved seeing a scene with Joe following Allison's death trying in vain to reach her. Or even a period of mourning? I know the show is only an hour but that's my point of view. However, Patricia Arquette did a fantastic job with the material given to her, I was impressed. Wished she would've been wearing better pj's though, haha.
As for Lee, the writer have spent numerous seasons on his fear of commitment and his relationship with Lynn and we only got to see them dance for 10 seconds. It was so unfair, I actually threw a boom at my television. And then they again shifted their attention to precious Ariel. *sigh* Good ending though.
