This episode was strangely well timed for me. I spent the last week battling a particularly nasty bug, and practicing my cough just like Joe. That all served to make the biohazard angle all the more creepy. It was helped along by the fact that the story behind it was rather clever, even if the real bad guy was obvious from jump street. And if all of that wasn’t enough, the writers delivered a really good Lee & Lynn scene as a bonus, complete with an adorable baby. It was a good way to head into the holiday break.

It's hard to believe that we're so far into the season that reruns and alternative programming are already dominating the schedule. As we head into the last week of new episodes (in which there are only a few), I'm sure you're all anxious to find out when your favorite dramas are set to return.

Usually we don't see TV dramas return until late January (the networks save those episodes for February sweeps), so I was thrilled to learn that most of the major shows are set to come back in the first two weeks of the month. The Tuesday night CBS lineup that includes NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and The Good Wife will return on January 5. Nip/Tuck begins their final season on January 6. The CBS Friday night lineup that includes Ghost Whisperer, Medium and Numb3rs heads back into our living rooms on January 8.

Several shows including Glee, Fringe, FlashForward and Gossip Girl won't be returning to the schedule until March/April.
