Who is the chick on the right in this picture? I've seen pretty much every episode, maybe missed one or two last season and for the life of me I don't remember this woman. If she wasn't that important to the show, why is she part of a photoshoot?
this is from the first ep..... check out Allison's hair, that was the only time it was ever that long
the other gal is just an assistant, I think, Allison was an intern at that time, she was supposed to arrange the clues for a crime instead she embellished, telling them what she saw happened. The other gal laughed and later on needed to go to a psychic for help with some other case and laughed at that psychic too. When Allison was left nearly alone for a moment, the psychic asked her, "why are you fighting what you are? they tell me you're the best, that they've been talking to you since you were very young....."
Soon after, Joe sent notes from Allison's dreams to various police hdqs and that's when we meet Captain Push. It was very neat how the first ep started with Captain Push and then the season ended with him too, IMHO. :)
Thanks for the info. :D I watched the first episode, but was kind of distracted at the time so I missed a lot of details. All I remember is something about a rain storm washing away evidence. I kind of wish they would have kept her hair that length on the show.
Its odd that this woman was only in the pilot yet she's in the promotional pictures.
*shrug* something must have happened... maybe she was offered something better or maybe there was a tragedy or maybe she simply changed her mind . . . after they had shot everything.
yeah, I missed the ep the first time around so I was totally baffled, but the rain storm washed away a body that Allison had found out via talking to the suspect's dead sister.
From the pilot episode (notice Allison's long hair) -- as bshai said above me, that woman was an assistant, Allison was an intern. There was a scene with her and Allison while questioning a psychic woman about the missing girl of that episode. That woman, the assistant, was a very skeptical woman and scoffed at this woman being a psychic. This is where the psychic and Allison had their private talk (and gave Allison some advice of her gift of being a medium).
This was a promotional photoshoot for the pilot episode, which doesn't necessarily mean it's for the entire series as a whole. Which is probably why you don't recognize it if you haven't seen the pilot all the way through.
Thanks for the extra info. :) Usually when I see a promotional shoot for a show, the actors aren't posed unless its showcasing the stars. Usually with other pictures its just taken from a scene. It would have made more sense for Jake Weber to be up there instead of her.
I believe that photo is from a promotional shoot done for the original pilot episode of the series. Maybe April Grace's character was initially supposed to have a larger part. Besides promos there are NBC episode stills of Allison with the longer hair. Cast photoshoots for each season were taken later by photographers Kevin Foley and Andrew Eccles, none of which featured Grace's character.
quick summary of that ep
